While initially well known nationally for her glass wall pieces and furniture, Debora’s mixed-media works in painted, “sculpted” canvas have come fully forward. Her unconventional method of painting involves a multi-layering process using paints, gels, paper, canvas and other materials. With the aid of palette knives, tools, kitchen objects and her own hands, unique woks on canvas are brought to life.
