Christina Lynn Johnson Sometimes becoming an artist is a life "accident". An
accountant by education, Christina only became an artist after being
laid off from an accounting firm. This happy misfortune lead to a
career as a watercolorist and teacher. While teaching watercolor she
noticed a glass fusing class and wandered in. She realized she was
hooked when her garage became a glass studio filled with kilns and
sheets of glass. Influenced by her painting background, Christina
finds a freedom in glass as she plays with vibrant opalescent and
transparent colors. In her own words….."abstract shapes come alive
through the use of strong design elements that take advantage of the
unique properties of glass."
